Come gather 'round people Wherever you are And admit that your fear, has escaped from its jar And accept that real soon You'll seek hope from the stars ‘Cause to your time, to you, is worth saving Oh my brothers and sisters, we’re all counting on you For the times they are a-changin Come writers and critics The fake and the true Can you tell us a story, that’s finally good news And if you don’t speak up Will the emptiness prove That we all were fools, just complaining Will loser now still be later to win For the times they are a-changin' Come senators, and congressmen Please heed the call Don't you stand in the doorway While we take the fall For those who despair Need you now most of all There's a battle inside of us ragin’ While it’s shaking your spine And just rattles your mind Oh the times they are a-changin' Come mothers and fathers Throughout this land Don’t you worry, but fight for, what you still understand For your sons and your daughters On you, they depend So your wisdom, you can’t be restraining If you can't lend a hand, then find someone who can For the times they are a-changin' Don’t let just the leaders, be the line in the sand For the sick and the dying, need somewhere to stand If you don’t fight for love and life on this earth Well the order’ll keep rapidly fadin' And it won’t matter then who’s first or who’s last For the times they are a-changin'

Sunshine kisses, take me home The roads are bare, chills to the bone We’re not alone Moonbeam singers, tap your feet Across the alleyways and streets Blame is beating out defeat Oh no Too late for last call, don’t you see Nobody’s looking for, you in the breeze It still begins, without an ending Pretty baby, hold me close Father, son, and holy ghost I’ll pray to anyone who hears Sees my tears, my tears Shirts and ties, for silly boys Dress up the girls, and give ‘em toys But they will grow, and change their minds So stay by their side Too late for last call, don’t you see Who are you looking for, in the breeze Who do you love, are you pretending? Snow on the mountains, make me warm Water flow into my arms Honey drop into my heart Into my heart But now, I must say, what I mean Nobody loves you more, no one I’ve seen And I will stand, with you, you must believe Cause it’s not too late, for a dream And that might sound crazy, but by God I believe We’re not alone, can’t you see what I see, Baby

So sick and tired Of staying inside I want to be free, free, free Like a bird in the sky But I know, I got to be responsible Deep down dark thoughts I won’t let you win I want to sing, out, out, out Break the cycle I’m in, so why not put on my favorite song Take it, for a spin When this all over I wanna do all Want to do all those things that I so dearly love, yeah So it turns out, that I’m learning much more About myself, and what I adore It’s the not the same everywhere Some people are really scared, and my heart goes out to them But just remember If it’s, together, we can weather the storm We don’t need some leader, if we know who we are And I’m going to fight Fight, with all of my might To overcome When this all over I wanna do all Want to do all those things that I so dearly love When this is all over I’m gonna be strong I won’t wait too long, to live the life, I really want What’s stopping us now, won’t last forever Consider this pause, a new endeavor You fall down, get back up, you know this, you got this When this all over I wanna do all Want to do all those things that I so dearly love When this is all over I’m gonna be strong I won’t wait too long, to live the life, I really want

I know a guy, always has a joke He's a pretty nice fellow, not afraid to poke Around inside the heads, of the crazy folks That live all over this world He could write a song, if he gets to drinking Got a loving wife, and three children But he’s gone to Mars, or maybe to heaven And that's the way that the world goes round That's the way that the world goes round. You're up one day and the next you're down. It's a half an inch of water and you think you're gonna drown That's the way that the world goes round He’s a musical legend, see he always was Cancer tried to take him, but he lived right on He never stopped writing, just a bruised up orange Sweet and sometimes tart Loved to tell a story, just have to ask Had many a dinner, while the sunrise laughed Had a gift for being kind, while being crass That's the way that the world goes round That's the way that the world goes round. You're up one day and the next you're down. It's a half an inch of water and you think you're gonna drown. That's the way that the world goes round That’s the way, ol’ John might say You never quite know, it’s day by day Just keep the marble rolling, and you’ll be okay That’s the way that the world goes round That’s the way that the world goes round

No telling where you can float When your mind creates pillows of hope Far off I hear fireworks Glows from the living room, lights like a church Hard to believe, how your thoughts Are now racing inside Open the back door And skip with your fears deep inside Perfectly spinning around Why the world’s feeling dizzy You’re high off the ground Stopping to see all the colors that bleed Together in harmony If you look down, you might drown In your own disbelief If you feel sick, close your eyes You might find some relief Here comes the train of pain and happiness Kaleidoscopes for children, here at the edge Can’t you feel the universe I’ll race you, if you get there first Jump in Red and the blue, the one and twos Are marching to the beat Swim inside the tidal waves of victory and defeat I am just a traveler And wonder if I’ve come to the right place Landscape here’s familiar, still I’m Questioning what I see with my face Lost in space Ba-ba-ba-ba, da-da-da, Ba Ba da-da-da-dah Ba-ba-ba-ba, da-da-da, Ba Ba da-da-da-dah No telling where you can go When your mind is not caged By the man with the gold No one can stop what you think Ride through trees Find the water and drink No telling who you might love Open your heart, hey that’s enough No one can be where you are All this experience makes you the star We’re lost in space Lost in space (Lost in)

How far we’ve come And where we’re going Sometimes, it’s hard to say What we’re learning And what we’re showing Could be the only way I know I, need my brothers I know I, need my sisters too I know I, want another Want another chance to, dance with you With you… So I guess we’ll see, what we’ll be Will this be some catastrophe Well I, I, I don’t know I know I, need my baby I know I, need the sunshine too I know I, want another Want another chance, to run around, with you With you… with you… with you… Yeah it might be a big mistake We all must do things our own way We must stay strong, carry on I want another chance to sing a song with you With you… Open it up, shut it down Can we still keep the love around? Another chance A soul pandemic Will we rise, will we win it Let it go, let it be No I won’t, let fear, get a hold of me Here it comes, Here we go A soul pandemic What will we show

about

SOUL PANDEMIC Album

There is no question that the Coronavirus pandemic has gripped the eyes of the world, and has caused mass hysteria along with economic and political battles among the human race. People are worried about loved ones who are susceptible to the disease, who have chronic health conditions, or are immunocompromised. My heart and mind is shocked at the death toll, the response of closures of schools, large gatherings of any kind, and the inevitable crash of the global economy. This historic time of isolation worldwide will be a retreat of fear and uncertainty for some, but I also hope that it will also be a time of inward growth and collective generosity of the human spirit. Personally, I've had to postpone my wedding to the person I love more than anyone else in this world, and had to witness her working non-stop until her U of A people were flown back to the United States while the borders of countries closed worldwide. This is bigger than all of us. As an artist my expression and processing comes through my music. I have felt largely inspired by information outlets, people's voices across the globe, and my community in Arizona to persevere and share my art in a time where I feel it is going to have a wider relevance than any project ever has before. In the following weeks, I will release a single song each week of this quarantine in real time as these events unfold. This is 'Soul Pandemic'. #soulpandemic #jacobacostamusic #coronavirus #covid19
